टी–२० विश्वकप : यस्तो छ ‘सुपर–८’ चरणको खेल तालिका

कावासोती । आईसीसी टी–२० विश्वकप क्रिकेटको नवौँ संस्करणमा ‘सुपर–८’ चरणका खेलहरू नेपाली समय अनुसार, बुधबार रातिदेखि सुरु हुनेछ । ‘सुपर–८ चारण’ मा पुगेका आठवटा टोलीलाई दुई समूहमा विभाजन गरिएको छ ।

‘सुपर–८ चारण’ को ‘समूह–१’ मा अफगानिस्तान, अस्ट्रेलिया, बङ्गलादेश र भारत रहेका छन् । ‘समूह–२’ मा भने इङ्गल्यान्ड, दक्षिण अफ्रिका, अमेरिका र वेस्ट इन्डिज रहेका छन् । अमेरिका पहिलो सहभागितामै टी–२० विश्वकपको ‘सुपर–८ चारण’ मा पुगेको हो ।

जारी विश्वकपको ‘सुपर–८ चारण’ मा पुगेका चारवटा राष्ट्रले यसअघि नै टी–२० विश्वकपको उपाधि जितिसकेका छन् । भारतले सन् २००७ मा सम्पन्न पहिलो संस्करणको उपाधि जितेको थियो । अस्ट्रेलियाले सन् २०२१ मा सम्पन्न सातौँ संस्करणको उपाधि चुमेको थियो ।

यसैगरी वेस्ट इन्डिज र इङ्गल्यान्डले हालसम्म दुई–दुईपटक टी–२० विश्वकपको उपाधि जितिसकेका छन् । वेस्ट इन्डिजले सन् २०१२ र सन् २०१६ मा टी–२० विश्वकप जितेको थियो । इङ्गल्यान्डले भने सन् २०१० र सन् २०२२ मा टी–२० विश्वकप उचालेको थियो ।

यसअघि उपाधि जितिसकेका दुई राष्ट्र भने यो विश्वकपको समूहगत चरणबाटै बाहिरिएका छन् । सन् २००९ को च्याम्पियन पाकिस्तान यसपटक समूहगत चरणबाटै घर फर्कियो । यसका अतिरिक्त सन् २०१४ मा सम्पन्न पाँचौँ संस्करणको विजेता श्रीलङ्का पनि यसपटक समूहगत चरणभन्दा अगाडि बढ्न सकेन ।

प्रतियोगिताको ‘सुपर–८ चारण’ को पहिलो खेल नेपाली समय अनुसार, बुधबार राति २०ः१५ बजे आयोजक अमेरिका र दक्षिण अफ्रिकाबिच खेलिने छ । दोस्रो खेल असार ६ गते बिहान ०६ः१५ बजे इङ्गल्यान्ड र आयोजक वेस्ट इन्डिजबिच हुनेछ ।

सोही दिन राति २०ः१५ बजे अफगानिस्तान र भारत आपसमा भिड्ने छन् । ‘सुपर–८ चारण’ को अन्तिम खेल असार ११ गते बिहान ०६ः१५ बजे अफगानिस्तान र बंगलादेशबिच खेलिने छ । ‘सुपर–८ चारण’ को समाप्तिपछि दुबै समूहबाट दुई–दुई टोली प्रतियोगिताको सेमिफाइनलमा पुग्नेछन् ।
