आज सोनाम ल्होसार, देशैभर सार्वजनिक बिदा

कावासोती । आज माघ शुक्ल प्रतिपदा– तामाङ समुदायले विविध कार्यक्रम आयोजना गरी हर्षोल्लासपूर्वक सोनाम ल्होसार मनाउँदै छन् । प्रत्येक वर्ष माघ शुक्ल प्रतिपदाका दिन विभिन्न कार्यक्रम गरी सोनाम ल्होसार मनाइन्छ ।

मुसा, गाई, बाघ, खरायो, ड्रागन , सर्प, घोडा, भेडा, बाँदर, चरा, कुकुर र सुँगुर गरी १२ वर्गमा सोनाम ल्होसारलाई विभाजन गरिएको छ ।

ल्होसारमा १२ वटा जीवजन्तुका नामबाट ल्हो खोर्लो अर्थात् वर्ष चक्रका आधारमा हरेक वर्ष पुरानो वर्षलाई बिदाइ र नयाँ वर्षलाई स्वागत गरी धार्मिक र सांस्कृतिक विधिअनुसार यो पर्व मनाउने गरिन्छ ।

भूमिपूजा, कूलपूजा एवं दानदक्षिणा, ढोगभेट, नाचगान, मिठो परिकार बनाएर खाने र शुभकामना आदानप्रदान गरी यो पर्व मनाउने चलन छ । समुदायका सबै जना एकै ठाउँमा भेला भई सामूहिक रुपमा मनाइने यो पर्व मुलुकका विभिन्न भूभागमा बसोबास गर्ने तामाङसहित ह्योल्मो, थकाली, जिरेल, नेस्याङ्वा, भोटे, दुरा, लेप्चा लगायतले आ–आफ्नो परम्परा अनुसार मनाउँछन् ।

तामाङ जातिको बाहुल्य रहेको बागमती प्रदेशका विभिन्न जिल्लामा यो पर्व विशेष रुपमा मनाइन्छ । राजधानीको टुँडिखेल, बौद्ध, स्वयम्भू क्षेत्रमा विविध कार्यक्रम आयोजना गरी ल्होसार मनाइँदै छ ।
